Domaine Saint-Bernard’s mandate is to allow its users to discover a natural environment while preserving its natural integrity through activities relating to the natural or cultural components of the environment (educational component), by promoting an attitude of respect towards the environment, which is based on notions of sustainable development resulting in socioeconomic benefits for the regional community.

Domaine Saint-Bernard is an ecotourism center and as such its principal mission is nature conservation. It works with various stakeholders to protect shorelines and wildlife as well as the preservation and conservation of the trails.

Alliance with the Firm WAA
The Domaine has recently created an alliance with the firm WAA which shares the same values. They have created an innovative plan that directly supports the Domaine’s mission. WAA is a multidisciplinary firm specializing in the fields of landscape architecture, urban design and town planning. Founded in 1986, the company has offices in Shanghai, China and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Its mission is to create contemporary environments that take into consideration social, cultural and economic values without compromising the well-being of future generations.
